Agronomist

We are looking to recruit a qualified Agronomist to join our Croy team on a permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity for a confident, driven professional with a passion for arable farming and strong advisory skills.

If you're not yet fully qualified but have the right attitude, on-farm experience, and the potential to thrive in a technical advisory role, training and support can be provided.

In this role, you will:

  • Work closely with Agrii’s experienced agronomy team to provide tailored advice and support to farmers.
  • Use scientific insight and agronomic knowledge to enhance crop productivity and sustainability.
  • Integrate new technologies, research, and innovations into practical on-farm solutions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with growers, acting as a trusted adviser in their business.

What you’ll need:

  • A strong background in agriculture, preferably with arable farming experience.
  • BASIS and FACTS qualifications (or a clear commitment to working towards them).
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
  • A full UK driving licence.

This is a hybrid role with home-working, as well as frequent travel in and around the Croy area. An industry leading benefits package will be available to the right candidate.
