Variety Positioning
-
Agrii’s biggest selling variety in 2025 from Europe’s most successful oilseed rape breeder, Limagrain.
-
It continues to deliver consistently high yields (102% treated, 95% untreated) and high oils (45.6%), but, in spite of this, it has come off the UK Recommended List.
-
Suitable for all soils and regions of the UK for drilling from early-August through to mid-September.
-
It shows moderately high vigour in autumn (7) and spring (6)
-
It has an average height (150 cm) and average stem stiffness (RL 7) and lodging resistance (RL 8; Agrii 5), so a robust PGR programme is advised.
-
Avoid very fertile sites or very early drilling.
-
It has good light leaf spot (RL 7; Agrii 5) and average phoma resistance (5).
-
There is good evidence from Agrii trials of improved Verticillium stem stripe tolerance compared with Ambassador and other older varieties.
-
It also carries the trait for pod shatter resistance.
