Warehouse Supervisor

Warehouse Supervisor

We are now seeking an experienced and professional Warehouse Supervisor to join our busy Micheldever Station site in Winchester. This is a full-time, permanent role, offering a varied and hands-on position within a fast-paced warehouse environment, supporting the day-to-day operation and helping to deliver a first-class warehouse, distribution and customer service function. This role combines practical warehouse responsibilities with team supervision and continuous improvement activities.

What you’ll do:

  • Supervise day-to-day warehouse activities including receiving, storage, stock control and order fulfilment.
  • Support the Depot Manager in delivering an efficient warehousing and distribution service.
  • Coordinate transportation and warehouse activities, ensuring accurate stock management and data integrity.
  • Supervise and support warehouse colleagues, including workload planning, training and maintaining high standards of health and safety.
  • Lead and support process improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and optimise operations.
  • Operate forklifts and warehouse equipment safely and in accordance with company procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety, environmental and operational standards.
  • Support loading, unloading and general warehouse duties where required.

What you’ll bring:

  • Previous supervisory experience within a warehouse, logistics or distribution environment.
  • A valid Counterbalance Forklift Truck licence.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • A proactive approach with an interest in continuous improvement and team development.
  • Strong attention to detail when handling high-value products.
  • Willingness to undertake manual handling and work in a physically active role.
  • A flexible and reliable approach, particularly during peak seasonal periods.

Please note: This is a full-time role (40 hours per week) with additional overtime available during busy periods. Due to seasonal demands, flexibility and occasional early starts may be required.
