Financial Analyst - Seed & Agronomy
We are looking to employ a Seed & Agronomy Financial Analyst for a permanent, home based position, with some occasional travel expected.
We're looking for a Finance Analyst to play a key role in supporting our Seed, Research & Development and Agronomy functions. You’ll work closely with Finance Business Partners and operational teams, providing financial analysis and commercial insight that supports strategic decision-making and drives business performance.
What you'll do:
- Provide financial analysis and reporting to support business performance and decision-making.
- Assist with the annual budgeting process and quarterly forecasting across the business.
- Analyse financial performance against budgets and previous years, identifying key trends, risks and opportunities.
- Support cost management by monitoring expenditure and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency.
- Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports for internal stakeholders.
- Support the calculation and monitoring of Agronomy bonus schemes and business performance measures.
What you'll bring:
- Experience in a finance, financial analysis or commercial finance role.
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills, with the ability to interpret data and communicate meaningful insights.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to build effective working relationships across the business.
- A proactive approach to problem solving and continuous improvement.
- Strong IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience using Power BI would be advantageous, but is not essential.
