Contracting Operator

Contracting Operator

We are currently seeking a dedicated Contracting/Sprayer Operator to join our established team in Perth on a fixed-term contract until the end of September. This is a varied and hands-on role supporting the safe and effective application of Crop Protection Products, Micronutrition and Fertiliser across a range of agricultural settings. This position involves operating agricultural application equipment while ensuring products are applied accurately, safely and efficiently.

What you’ll do:

  • Operate self-propelled agricultural spraying and application equipment safely and effectively.
  • Support the accurate application of Crop Protection Products, Micronutrition and Fertiliser.
  • Drive and operate additional agricultural equipment, including ATV-style machinery where qualified.
  • Load and unload products and equipment, ensuring accuracy against requirements.
  • Move goods and materials safely using appropriate equipment, including forklifts where required.
  • Maintain high standards of housekeeping and ensure work areas remain safe and organised.
  • Follow all health & safety and operational procedures at all times.

What you’ll bring:

  • A full driving licence (essential).
  • An interest in agriculture and outdoor working.
  • Experience operating agricultural machinery or larger vehicles is beneficial but not essential.
  • PA1, PA2 or PA4 qualifications would be advantageous.
  • A proactive and flexible approach with a strong work ethic.
  • Willingness to undertake manual handling and work additional hours when required.

Please note: This is a fixed-term contract running until the end of September and may require overtime during peak seasonal periods.
