Biologicals & Crop Nutrition Commercial Manager
We are looking to employ a Biologicals & Crop Nutrition Business Manager for a home-based, permanent position within our Crop Protection team. This role will come with some UK wide travel.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing supplier partnerships, driving commercial performance, shaping pricing and portfolio strategy, identifying new market opportunities and ensuring our agronomy teams have the technical and commercial support they need to grow the category.
What you’ll do:
- Take commercial ownership of the Biologicals and Micronutrition portfolio, developing plans to drive sales, margin and sustainable growth.
- Build and manage strategic supplier relationships, leading commercial negotiations, pricing and joint business planning.
- Identify market trends, customer needs and new product development, leading their evaluation and introduction where appropriate.
- Work with Technical and R&D teams to shape trials, product development and positioning.
- Lead commercial and technical communication to Agrii’s agronomy teams, including product launches, updates and technical information.
- Oversee forecasting, volume planning, supply, stock management and product information across the portfolio.
- Use market and commercial insight to influence the wider BA&M strategy and establish the category as a key area of growth for Agrii.
What you’ll bring:
- Strong commercial experience within agriculture, crop protection, biologicals, micronutrition, adjuvants or a related sector.
- A good understanding of crop production and the role of biologicals and crop nutrition within agriculture.
- Proven experience managing supplier relationships and negotiating commercial agreements.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking, with the ability to turn insight into commercial opportunities.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the confidence to engage with suppliers, agronomists, technical specialists and senior stakeholders.
- A proactive, commercially focused approach, with the ability to take ownership, make decisions and manage competing priorities.
