- Carry out trial assessments and data collection, including crop growth, disease levels and maturity.
- Operate farm and trials equipment including drills, plot combines and forklifts (training provided where required).
- Assist with glasshouse work, early generation seed multiplication and routine trial site maintenance.
- Support the supervision of seasonal staff during peak periods.
- Prepare grain samples and support data handling and analysis.
- Travel to and support trials across multiple sites within East Anglia and the South-East.
- Maintain high standards of health, safety and compliance across all activities.
What you’ll bring:
- A strong interest in agriculture, crop production or field trials work.
- Practical, hands-on approach with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Good attention to detail and the ability to work accurately to deadlines.
- Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn.
- A valid UK Driving Licence.
- Previous experience in field trials or a similar environment is beneficial but not essential.
