Site Support Assistant

We’re currently looking for a Site Support Assistant to join the team at our busy Drem depot on a fixed-term basis. This full-time role plays a key part in keeping our warehouse and distribution operations running smoothly. With standard Monday to Friday hours and occasional weekend overtime during peak times, it’s a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment within one of the UK’s most respected agricultural businesses.

What you’ll do:

  • Support the day-to-day running of the site alongside the Depot Manager.
  • Assist with logistics, warehousing and distribution activities to meet both short and long-term objectives.
  • Support delivery operations, including occasional ad-hoc van driving & deliveries.
  • Ensure the depot remains organised, safe, and customer-focused in all aspects of its operation.
  • Help maintain accurate records and support inventory control and stock movement.
  • Operate a counterbalance forklift truck (training can be provided if needed).
  • Contribute to a safe working environment, following company procedures and H&S standards.
  • Provide flexible support where required, including covering colleagues during busy periods.

What you’ll bring:

  • Previous experience in a busy logistics or warehousing role.
  • Strong communication & interpersonal skills and the ability to work well within a team.
  • Close attention to detail and a proactive, can-do attitude.
  • Computer literacy is essential; experience with Microsoft Office and D365 is advantageous.
  • A counterbalance forklift truck licence is desirable but not essential.
  • A full UK driving licence is essential.
  • Agricultural sector experience is preferred but not required.
