Seed Plant Machinist

We are looking to employ a Seed Plant Machinist for our site in Finmere.

In this role, you will:

• Operate our Seed Cleaning Lines, cleaning a variety of seeds to meet pre-determined quality standards.
• Ensure cleanliness and tidiness at all times to prevent contamination between different seed species and varieties.
• Recalibrate, service, and maintain machinery to ensure correct settings and optimal performance for different seed types (full training will be provided).
• Support treatment and bagging processes as part of our efficient and customer-focused seed supply chain.

We’re seeking someone with:

• A good understanding of machinery and basic engineering skills.
• An interest in the agricultural sector.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• A positive work ethic, with flexibility to adapt to changing business demands.
• A counterbalance forklift truck licence (desirable).

This is a fantastic opportunity to work hands-on within a dedicated team, supporting growers across the region.

The role offers 40 hours of work per week, with additional overtime as required by the business. This is a permanent position. Training will be provided.
