This is a high-impact, strategic leadership role with visibility across the wider Agrii business. Reporting to the Managing Director, you’ll lead a broad and experienced team - including customer services, certified seed delivery, procurement and GB Seeds operations - while championing safety, service quality, and cost efficiency across the board. You'll work from home but be highly visible with a hands-on presence across the depot network.
You will also:
- Champion a strong Health and Safety culture across logistics teams and sites.
- Ensure safe, efficient and timely delivery of CPP and certified seed products.
- Lead senior managers across customer service, trunking, depot operations, procurement and GB Seeds.
- Drive cost control and operational efficiency in line with strategic targets.
- Deliver continuous improvement in service, safety and performance.
- Oversee operational and capital budgets, including forward CAPEX planning.
- Support the rollout of digital systems to improve logistics and administration.
- Work with the GB Seeds Commercial Manager to manage budgets, contracts and profitability.
- Align team objectives with Agrii’s wider business strategy.
What you’ll bring:
- Proven leadership experience within a large-scale logistics or supply chain function.
- Strong background in operational logistics, ideally with exposure to agriculture, FMCG or a similar fast-moving industry.
- A hands-on, practical approach backed by strong analytical and strategic thinking.
- A track record of managing budgets, delivering change and leading cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
- Highly organised, adaptable and resilient with a continuous improvement mindset.
We are an equal opportunities employer and welcome applications from anyone regardless of race, sex, sexual orientation, religion / belief, age or disability.
