Head of Agronomy Teams - South
As part of our continued growth plans, we are now seeking to appoint a Head of Agronomy – UK South to play a key role in driving regional performance and strengthening Agrii’s market position. This is a senior leadership role with full responsibility for the commercial performance, people leadership and strategic direction of the UK South agronomy region. Reporting to the Commercial Director, the role sits within Agrii’s Senior Management Team and will work closely with key stakeholders across the business.
What you’ll do:
- Take full ownership of the agronomy teams in Agrii's UK South Region.
- Support our Area Business Managers in all teams South of the Humber.
- Drive business growth by working closely with the local agronomy teams and their customers.
- Lead, develop and inspire high-performing regional teams, creating a strong performance and coaching culture.
- Recruit, retain and develop talent, building leadership capability across the region.
- Contribute to company strategy through active participation in the Senior Management Team
- Ensure customers are fully propositioned with Agrii’s complete portfolio of products and services.
- Gather and share market intelligence to inform strategic decision-making.
- Lead change initiatives and support the business through ongoing growth and evolution.
- Uphold and promote Agrii’s values, culture and reputation across the industry.
What you’ll bring:
- Proven senior commercial or people leadership experience, ideally within Agronomy , Agriculture or a related sector.
- A proven track record in sales and/or field based sales management
- Strong commercial acumen, with experience managing P&L and driving business performance.
- A customer-focused mindset with a clear understanding of how to grow and retain farming customers.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, develop and motivate high-performing, geographically dispersed teams.
