Credit Management Receptionist
We are now seeking a Credit Management Receptionist to join our Finance team on a temporary basis to support the business during our peak seasonal period. Acting Cras the first point of contact for many customer enquiries, this role will play an important part in supporting our Credit Management and Credit Administration functions while delivering excellent customer service.
This role would suit someone with a confident telephone manner and previous customer service or reception experience who enjoys working in a busy, team-focused environment.
What you’ll do:
- Act as a first point of contact for incoming calls relating to credit and account enquiries (up to 70 calls per day).
- Provide professional and helpful customer service to both internal and external customers.
- Support the Credit Management and Credit Administration teams with general administrative tasks, including posting, invoicing, printing, sending and receiving invoices and taking payments.
- Assist with customer enquiries relating to payments and account information.
- Maintain accurate records and support the wider finance team with routine administration.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure queries are handled efficiently and professionally.
- Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, scanning, managing deliveries etc.
What you’ll bring:
- A clear, confident and professional telephone manner.
- Previous experience in customer service, reception or a call-handling role.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to deal with customers calmly and professionally.
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
- A positive, team-focused approach with a willingness to support colleagues during busy periods.
Please note: This is a temporary, part-time role supporting the business during our peak season, which is expected to run from the 1st April to the end of September.
The role is 22.5 hours per week, typically Monday–Friday 9:00am–2:00pm (with flexibility to 9:30am–2:30pm).
The role operates on a hybrid basis, with Tuesday and Wednesday office-based and the remaining days home-based.
