Agronomist
We are looking to recruit a qualified Agronomist to join our team on a permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity for a confident, driven professional with a passion for arable farming and strong advisory skills.
If you're not yet fully qualified but have the right attitude, on-farm experience, and the potential to thrive in a technical advisory role, training and support can be provided.
In this role, you will:
- Work closely with Agrii’s experienced agronomy team to provide tailored advice and support to farmers.
- Use scientific insight and agronomic knowledge to enhance crop productivity and sustainability.
- Integrate new technologies, research, and innovations into practical on-farm solutions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with growers, acting as a trusted adviser in their business.
What you’ll need:
- A strong background in agriculture, preferably with arable farming experience.
- BASIS and FACTS qualifications (or a clear commitment to working towards them).
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- A full UK driving licence.
This is a hybrid role with home-working, as well as frequent travel in and around the Lothian and borders area.
