Accounts Maintenance Administrator
We are looking to employ an Accounts Maintenance Administrator for a permanent, hybrid role based at our Alconbury office.
This is a key administrative role responsible for maintaining the integrity of our customer and supplier data, ensuring all accounts are created, updated and managed in line with company standards and audit requirements. Working closely with teams across the business, this role will play an important part in supporting efficient operations and delivering a high standard of service.
What you’ll do:
- Create and maintain customer and vendor accounts in line with company processes and audit requirements.
- Ensure all account data is accurate, up to date and compliant with agreed standards.
- Manage and update delivery addresses, including reviewing and correcting data where required.
- Maintain customer account structures, including multirep tables and sales group updates.
- Review and reactivate dormant customer and vendor accounts where appropriate.
- Apply and update vendor banking details in line with company procedures.
- Monitor and report outstanding issues, supporting service level agreements.
- Work closely with internal teams including Sales, Credit Control, Customer Service and Distribution to support business operations.
- Support general administration tasks as required by the Customer Services Manager.
What you’ll bring:
- Strong administrative skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Good IT skills, with confidence using internal systems and Microsoft Office.
- A professional and personable approach, including a confident telephone manner and strong communication skills.
- A flexible approach, with the ability to manage workload during seasonal peaks.
- Previous experience in a customer service or administrative role is beneficial but not essential.
Please note: This is a hybrid role, with a combination of home working and time based at our Alconbury office.
