Low footprint farming

Beef cattle born and bred on farm in Leicestershire, raised outdoors all summer on grass in a closed suckler herd. Brought inside in the last month to be finished mainly on home produced silage and minimal cereal ration grown on farm.
All grass leys are down for minimum of 5 years, some of it unimproved permanent pasture with a wide mix of grasses producing the high quality silage they’re seen eating here. All muck produced is returned to the spring cropped arable fields to reduce the artificial fertiliser needed to be bought on farm.
Pretty low carbon footprint from where I’m looking…
