Agenda
- Rotations project tour - now in its 12th year!
- Stow Longa is moving site next year! A look at what’s to come from the new site
- Varieties: Guided plot tour with in-field insight on performance, disease risks and yellow rust resilience, plus OSR variety opportunities and market guidance from Bunge.
- Digital Solutions for Better Farm Management - we will cover Telus and Contour Crop Protection (CP) improvements, including easier user self-management, as well as variable-rate fertiliser applications and the return of PRF1 in SFI, with a focus on how farmers can use RHIZA to take advantage. With inspection budgets increasing, we will also look at compliance risks around soil sampling and record-keeping, and how RHIZA can support NMP, NVZ and FRW compliance.
- Cereal herbicides: Grassweed pressures this season, IPM strategies and best performing herbicide programmes.
- A practical look at environmental schemes available for 2026 across England, Wales and Scotland, including how different cover-crop seed mixtures can fit into productive rotations. We’ll also explore the digital tools that help plan, monitor and manage these schemes more effectively.
- In light of increasing glyphosate resistance concerns, exploring how application approach and timing may need to adapt to support effective weed control.
