Variety Positioning
- 
A new biscuit wheat addition to the UK Recommended List. Very high yields in both official trials (107% treated, 88% untreated) and Agrii trials last year (112% treated, 77% untreated). 
- 
Average physical grain quality (77.1 kg/hl) and lower HFN (179s). 
- 
Its best performance has been in the north (109% treated) in AHDB trials. It is rated ‘High’ for distilling and provisionally approved for export under uks. 
- 
Suitable for all soil types and regions of the UK and the main drilling window through to the end of December. 
- 
Best grown as a first wheat as it is susceptible to stem base diseases. 
- 
Moderately tall (90cm) but relatively weak (6 treated, 5 untreated) so a robust pgr programme is essential. Medium-early maturity (+1). 
- 
Good disease resistance against mildew (6) (5) and Septoria 
 tritici (7) (7) but weaker against yellow rust (6) (5), brown rust (5) (4) and eyespot (4).
- 
Resistant to orange wheat blossom midge.
