Tell us about your role, what do you do?
A trainee agronomist, currently shadowing other agronomists in my team learn their day-to-day, whilst studying towards my BASIS and FACTS exams.

How did you get started in Agriculture or your role?
Have grown up on a family farm and have always been involved and loved it for as long as I can remember.

What do you love most about your job?
the interactions with growers, and all events Agrii host and attend.

Any advice for people looking to get started in the industry?
Confidence, patience and organisation is most important and of course a real passion for the industry.

What is the biggest challenge you face in your role and why?
there is a lot of information to know and understand so learning and putting it into practise on farm is more challenging than I thought.

In one word or a short sentence, how would you describe being an employee of Agrii?
As Agrii are such a big company, there are many people I can contact if ever in doubt or unsure on something.

Fun Fact about yourself?
I enjoy clay pigeon shooting and am currently training my dog to be a gun dog.
