Nutrient levels and overall soil health is vital for accurate and appropriate fertiliser application and crop management.
Under the Farming Rules for Water 2018, soil testing for Phosphorus, Potassium, Magnesium, pH, and Nitrogen levels must be carried out at least once every 5 years.
Testing for basic nutrient availability is important, but other factors in soil fertility, such as organic matter, active carbon, microbial biomass, and a wide spectrum of micro-nutrients, are of equal importance, yet they are often neglected.
Both Lancrop and NRM Laboratories can test for all these factors and many more. With the help of our qualified advisors you can utilise these results to improve your soil health and overall nutrient use efficiency.
For further information on the analysis suites available, please see below or contact us for information on getting your soils, plant tissue or organic materials tested.
