(Based in Andoversford, Cheltenham, GL54 4LZ)
Origin are currently looking to recruit a SQL Server DBA, to join the IT team at our Andoversford site. The SQL Server DBA will be responsible for the implementation, configuration, maintenance, and performance of critical SQL Server environments, to ensure the availability and consistent performance of our corporate applications. This is a “hands-on” position requiring solid technical skills, as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills. The position comes with a high degree of responsibility and accountability.
The successful candidate will demonstrate the following skills/experience:
Experience of SQL Server hosted within virtual environments, Microsoft Azure experience (Azure SQL Server VMs, Azure SQL DB) and experience of SQL Server in a Dynamics AX environment is desirable but not essential. Formal training on Azure cloud technologies will be provided.
