We have a vacancy for a Farm Saved Seed Operator based at our Hixon depot servicing the surrounding counties.
The successful candidate will be highly self-motivated with a desire to succeed within an extremely busy seasonal business.

The role will include driving to farms to process Farm Saved Seed with another team member through one of our nationwide fleet of mobile seed processing machines as well as operating one of our mobile bulk seed cleaning or colour sorting machines. The role is to provide succession and whilst sufficient training will be provided alongside the predecessor a Seed, Agricultural, Engineering or Plant Operating background would be a significant advantage. LGV or City and Guilds NTPC PA1 & PA11 would also be an advantage but can be acquired during the training period.
