Contracting Operator

We are currently recruiting for Sprayer Operators to join our well-established team in Perth.

You will be working as part of an established and enthusiastic team in a job that whilst may at times be demanding, will provide job variety, responsibility and satisfaction.
We also provide ongoing training and encourage individual development.

The Contracting Operator role involves operating self-propelled Agricultural spraying equipment, driving various Agricultural application tools, and ensuring the accurate and safe application of products.

Additionally, our next contracting operator will be responsible for:

  • Driving self -propelled Agricultural spraying equipment
  • Driving other Agricultural application equipment if qualified to do so
  • Driving ATV style application equipment if qualified to do so.
  • Operating all spraying and application equipment safely
  • Application of products accurately and safely to areas required
  • Filling application equipment safely to the correct instructions
  • Following all instructions given on company worksheets/job sheets
  • Loading and unloading goods and checking them against order forms
  • Placing goods in vans, trailers, bowsers and other equipment
  • Moving heavy packages and pallets using forklift machinery
  • Ensure the work area is kept neat, tidy & safe

The successful candidate will possess the following skills:

  • The successful post holder will be needed to be well organised with an ambition to work within the agriculture industry.
  • A driving licence is essential for this role.
  • Experience driving large vehicles & ATV’s is beneficial, but not essential as we will provide all relevant training.
  • This role does require manual work.

You should also have:

  • A full UK driving licence which covers the use of Agricultural machinery.
  • PA1,PA2 and PA4 (preferable)
