- Remains the leading spring wheat and the only Group 1. Consistent good yields with excellent grain quality. It attracts full Group 1 premiums and is widely accepted by the millers. Suitable for all regions and soil types. Has proven itself in the autumn on medium and lighter soils in the traditional slot after roots or true spring drilling.
- Sow from the end of October through to mid-April. It produces tall straw that is very characteristic of spring wheat. There is no official lodging rating on the spring list but Agrii data shows you need a good PGR programme on autumn drilled crops as standard especially those on fertile land.
- Adopt a comprehensive approach to control both Septoria tritici and Brown Rust and, as for all quality wheats, apply an ear spray to control Fusarium. Midge resistance is a very useful attribute.
