- High yields in Agrii trials in 2020 (100% treated, 92% untreated) and had the highest specific weight of any of the biscuit wheats tested. The AHDB results were similar with high yields (101% treated, 86% untreated) and high specific weight (77.8 kg/hl). Accepted for the domestic biscuit market and under test for distilling where it has a medium rating, but not suitable for uks export.
- Its best performance is in the East and West regions, in both official and Agrii trials, while its performance drops off further north (97% treated, 90% untreated). Best grown on heavy soils either as a first or a second wheat. Unsuitable for early drilling but it has performed well in late drilled trials up until the end of January (99% treated, 90% untreated).
- Average height (88 cm) and stiff straw (8 treated, 7 untreated). Its grassweed competitiveness is still being evaluated in Agrii Stow Longa trials. It has medium maturity (+1) and average resistance to sprouting (6).
- Excellent disease ratings for yellow rust (8.3), brown rust (8.8) and Septoria tritici (7.1) but mildew is a significant weakness (3.5). Average resistance to eyespot (5) and moderate resistance to fusarium ear blight (6.3). Resistant to orange wheat blossom midge.
