Variety Positioning
- A new addition to the UK Recommended List this autumn. A high yielding conventional variety from the same breeder as Aspire but with a very different growth habit. Fast in the autumn and particularly early to start spring re-growth it has an advantage over other conventional varieties by reducing the damage following larvae infestation.
- High gross output (104%), high untreated yields (101%) and high oil content (46.1%) in Agrii’s trials and sits alongside Aspire on the UK Recommended List.
- Suitable for all areas of the UK and all soils including fertile sites. Suits the main drilling window, 20th August through to the end of the first week of September, depending on soil conditions.
- Taller (154 cm) than Aspire with excellent lodging resistance (8), very early flowering (8) and mid-maturity (5). Similar disease resistance to Aspire with resistance against Light Leaf Spot (7) and Phoma/Stem Canker (6). Tolerance to Verticillium Wilt has not yet been confirmed.
