Dan Basse Profile
Dan Basse is a professional economist/analyst that has been involved in the commodity business since 1979. Mr Basse worked his first job in Iowa with Professional Farmers of America before moving to Brock Associates in Milwaukee to serve as Director of Market Research. After this Dan headed up the Ag Research division of GNP Commodities in Chicago. Then in 1989, Dan founded AgResource Company in Chicago and has held the position of President since.
AgResource is a Chicago based US and international Agricultural Advisory/Research firm, which forecasts domestic and world agricultural price trends. AgResource Co. provides information/research to livestock producers, elevators, soy and corn processors, wheat millers, food companies, trading companies, importers and exporters and meat packers.
