Competition Terms & Conditions

  1. The buy-back seed competition is open to residents of mainland Great Britain.
  2. Employees of Glencore or Agrii or any associated company of Origin plc and their immediate families, suppliers and agents are not eligible to enter the Competition.
  3. All information detailing how to enter this competition forms part of these terms and conditions. It is a condition of entry that all rules are accepted as final and that the competitor agrees to abide by these rules. The decision of the judges is final and no correspondence will be entered into. Submission of an entry will be taken to mean acceptance of these terms and conditions.
  4. An ‘entrant’ is defined as the person whose contact details are submitted on the entry form. One entrant may only submit one entry.
  5. Entries will only be accepted in paper form, on the Glencore-Agrii stand, on the days of the Cereals Event 15th and 16th June 2016. Entries will only be accepted during the opening hours of the show.
  6. A winner will be picked at random from all entries submitted.
  7. The winner will be selected at random at 5pm on the last day of the Cereals event 2016. The winner will be informed in writing by either email or post, depending on which details they have given on their entry card. No responsibility will be accepted for incorrect or illegible address or email address details having been submitted on the entry form.
  8. The winner will receive 2 tonnes of Master Seeds subject to them entering into a buy-back contract for the crop with Glencore. They will be informed how this prize can be redeemed in the letter described in point 7. The prize must be redeemed by 31st December 2016.
  9. The prize as described is available on the date of publication. All prizes are non-transferable and there are no alternatives.
  10. If the winner is unable to be contacted after reasonable attempts have been made, Glencore and Agrii reserve the right to either offer the prize to a runner-up or to re-offer the prize in any future competition.
  11. Glencore and Agrii accept no responsibility for lost or damaged entries.
  12. Glencore and Agrii reserve the right to cancel this competition or alter any of the rules at any stage, if deemed necessary in its opinion, and if circumstances arise outside of its control.
