Agrii Out-Performance Scholarships for Harper Adams University
Two new scholarships are being offered at Harper Adams University by the UK’s leading agronomy services provider, Agrii, to encourage the out-performance of talented undergraduate and post-graduate students.
As part of the company’s advanced iQ learning and development programme, the under-graduate scholarship is available to students with a keen interest in agronomy or associated services and support in crop production. It will provide a £4500 contribution to second year tuition fees, a 12-month placement working with Agrii and the possibility of further final year funding at the University.
In parallel to this, an Agrii scholarship to the value of £4500 will be awarded for a Master of Research student at the University.
Announcing the scholarships, local Agrii team manager Nigel Francis said: “We have a number of Harper Adams graduates working in our business and the University’s short courses are a valuable element in our iQ programme, extending staff skills and expertise throughout the company”.
“We have always been a keen supporter of the excellent agricultural education Harper Adams provides at both undergraduate and post-graduate level”.
“Our industry-leading commitment to research and development makes it logical to reintroduce the Masters student scholarship awarded by one of our founding companies, Masstock in the past”.
“At the same time, we want to give a talented young student looking towards a career in the science of crop production extra encouragement in their studies and the opportunity to experience life with us at the cutting edge of the industry.”
