Tyfon has been around for many years. It is a leafy variety ideal for summer grazing by all types of animal but easily available to cattle. Rondo is a green skinned variety with a leafy habit and better winter hardiness due to higher dry matter %. Can be sown effectively with ryegrass or kale. Samson is more leafy and is preferentially grazed leading to higher dry matter intakes. Delilah is the highest yielding variety with more root yield than Samson.
